She has a crazy ex-boyfriend!

Dear Dr. Cary,

I am a single man aged 44. I have never married nor have I any children.  I am dating a never married woman with 3 school-aged children.  She has a crazy
ex-boyfriend whom she has a protective restraining order against.

I am interested in the problems related with such a relationship.  Should I marry a woman with children?

I have no idea what I am in for. Your opinion?

Dear Donald,

With a crazy ex boyfriend and 3 kids probably from different Fathers – get rid of the tramp before the ex gets rid of you.  Why would contemplate taking on 3 kids when you have no experience in that field?  Just think of giving up your space and taking on a family.  The fact that you are 41 and never been married tells me you have commitment problems to begin with.

Lose her because you will be in for a great surprise.
